Well, I've recently completed the UKCC Level 2 course at Rugeley Leisure Centre in Staffordshire, the home of G-Force Trampoline Club. Their Head Coach Paul Coates ran the course and was very enlightening.
The level 2 course was 5 days long and built on the basic moves learnt in level one and concentrated on all the progressions needed for forward somersault, back somersault, lazy backs, baranis and crash dives.
The course also concentrated on gymnast...

I really enjoyed peters level 2 course,Which i attended with sammy so that the coaches had children there to practice on.
Although it was peters course me and sammy also learnt a lot over the two days. I learnt front somersaults and sammy learnt lazy backs.
It was really good fun even though it was really hard work.

A new menu has been created to allow for drop down lists to be used. This reduces the space that the menu was taking up and categorises the menu items appropriately. Hope you like it. Please let me know either way.

This write up was done by Darren on Josh and Elise's first West Midlands Training Squad Session:-

Everything was going fine until one rather dodgy landing that catapulted me towards the end of the trampoline in a heap. I vaguely remember my f...

Following on from the news that a date had been agreed for the 24 hour bounce, a few parents sat down on Sunday to talk about how we could make it bigger and better this year. Lots of ideas were debated and actions assigned to people.
I ended up with the media coverage, amongst other things (note to self, stop volunteering during meetings). Anyway I thought I'd drop a few media outlets an email. Within 20 minutes of sending my email I got a call from BBC Radio Shropshire.
They we...

Yes, you did read it right! This forty-something has started having trampolining lessons at Phoenix on Sunday mornings. So what was my motivation? I’ve sat and watched trampolinists training for a couple of years now and would quite like to get into coaching in the not too distant future, so I thought to myself ‘how much better would I be as a coach if I was actually trampolining myself? I’d better understand the difficulties and effort required of a trampolinist and be bett...
