Who can guess which parent brought her two children to trampolining last Sunday at 09:00am because she forgot to put her clocks back?

Sponsorship Money Now In !!!!

Hi everyone,

It was lovely to see you all yesterday at Cocks Moor Woods and this morning at Phoenix.  I'm pleased to report that at long last between myself and Nigel we have managed to collect in all of the money for my sponsored somersault.  Thanks to the incredible generosity of yourselves plus my family and friends we raised an impressive £120.  Add to this a very generous sponsorship of £100 from my employer, Fujitsu Services, I managed to rai...

Ever said yes when asked and when everyone has gone you realise what it is that you have actually said yes to? Well as a result I shall be flaunting my 3/8” Fuller and swinging my Swages down at Blists Hill on 25th October. To those of you that are still in the dark, I shall be attempting to keep my eyebrows whilst performing that elite of crafts blacksmithing.

As a trainee pyromaniac and basic iron basher, it is my ambition to create a wrought iron piece of craftsmanship, p...

Living For The Weekend

Posted by mo.wilcox@talk21.com at 01:18 PM on October 05, 2009 Comments comments (1)

Hello All, long time no see. I'm sure you don't want me to bore you with the detail, but I will anyway...! Friday 14th August I went for a short bike ride, Saturday morning I couldn't walk because it had taken it's toll on my coccyx. I thought I would give trampolining a miss on the Sunday morning, just to be on the safe side. But on Sunday afternoon I felt ok so I foolishly thought I would get on our home trampoline to catch up on lost bounce time. During my huffing and puffing I somehow man...

Beckham, Rooney and Limbrick

What do David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and me all have in common? No it's not loads of money (I wish). It's that we've all broken our metatarsal bone in our foot.

This happened to me last weekend whilst trampolining. Here's the story: Sian was teaching two children and one over-sized child (yours truly) a few moves during the recreational session. Everything was going fine until one rather dodgy landing that catapulted me towards the end of the trampoline in a heap. I vaguely remember my f...

How Proud Am I?

Well done everyone you worked really hard to get this 24hours done, raising lots of money for the club.

Guess what I am proud of myself! I eventually did the sumersault - I still need to work on it a bit.

I know it's taken a while but I wasn't expecting to have the ice-skating injury.  I hope you can all remember your pledges and I know it's taken a while. Thank you for digging deep when I pestered you for raffle ticket money and thank you again for dishing out your cas...

BBC Radio Shropshire Breakfast Show

Following on from the news that a date had been agreed for the 24 hour bounce, a few parents sat down on Sunday to talk about how we could make it bigger and better this year. Lots of ideas were debated and actions assigned to people.

I ended up with the media coverage, amongst other things (note to self, stop volunteering during meetings). Anyway I thought I'd drop a few media outlets an email. Within 20 minutes of sending my email I got a call from BBC Radio Shropshire.

They we...

Dear Diary, 13th March

Posted by nigel@keyair.org at 05:52 AM on March 14, 2009 Comments comments (3)

Dear diary, today I was to embark on a mission that, in spite of it being Friday 13th, should prove to be as simple a task as the charge of the light brigade. With an abundance of confidence I set out to master the art of populating the magnificent feat of engineering AKA the Phoenix Trampoline Club notice board (thank you Stuart for the donation). I arrived at the school just in time to be met by the her...
